2048 is a sliding block puzzle game developed by an Italian web developer Gabriele Cirulli. The main goal is to move tiles and combine them to create a 2048 tile. However, after you reach the goal, you can keep playing to create tiles with higher numbers. 2048 Gameplay 2048 is played on a gray 4×4 grid. As you start the game, you will see tiles with number 2 or 4. You need to use the arrow keys (on Desktop) or swipe (on Android, iOS) to move tiles. Each time you move, a new tile with a value of 2 or 4 will randomly appear in an empty spot.
